I am a native of South Africa and I've lived so far on four different continents and visited many countries. I love languages and people and cultures and food and can be described as a third culture kid, so in many ways I can be called a global nomad. This means that a lot of things I write sometimes follow the theme of identity and the crisis of a sort of exile. I am also a romantic at heart and both communication and relationships are really important to me, hence more poems in that genre. I want to explore the world and help people understand each other a little better so that we can all get along better in this crazy world of ours. And I guess I had better wrap up this bio by sharing I am a poet. I LOVE words, meanings of words, the way they sound, the way they are used. I think we can learn a lot by listening to each others' words and seeking to understand others' opinions. We are all different, and we don't have to agree, but we can learn to listen.
