and cawing crows.
Water dripping
frozen on the moss.
Bleak midwinter hills
and sighing bare branches.
Snow falling
breathlessly across the world.
Bleak midwinter sorrows
and paralyzed hearts.
Wave goodbye
hoping with a wish.
Bleak midwinter hopes
defiantly waiting.
Flames flicker
at the hearthside of dreams.
